Default How to find mail

Hi,

We have successfully migrate our mail server from qmial to Zimbra and it is working perfect, Today one of our employee informed that he didnt receive one mail, i have verified that that mail has been delivered in out box of sender(BOTH users are on the same domain), i have search the mail through following commands

zmmsgtrace -s sender@TEST.COM -r reviever@TEST.COM

no result.

i have checked in /var/log/maillog but no mail in this specific time.

I there any other log file that can be helpfull to find out the lost emails, and genrally what is the quick way to find out such emails(log files and commands)

Thanks
Mudasar

Please update your forum profile with the output of the following:
Code:
zmcontrol -v
The usual reason for 'missing email' is the recipient has a filter that's discarding the message, check if he has (you can display the filters via the cli with zmprov). Check the recipient email address and time in zmmsgtrace.

You'll find details of the log files here: Log Files - Zimbra :: Wiki

Hi,

Output of zmcontrol -v
Release 5.0.9_GA_2533.RHEL5_64_20080815094512 CentOS5_64

By default there is no rule for filtering massages. I have also checked mail the mail by giving time frame not no mail in this spacific time period.

Thanks
Mudasar

As I asked earlier, please add that information to your forum profile.
