Default Migrating 32 bit to 64 bit Zimbra

Hi. I am having problems migrating from a live 32 bit environment to a 64 bit environment. Zimbra 64 bit 5.09 and Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit.

The following comment does not run and was taken from the wiki:
WIKI: Network Edition: Moving from 32-bit to 64-bit Server - Zimbra :: Wiki

Command:
/opt/zimbra/openldap/sbin/slapadd -q -b "" -f
/opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf -cv \ -l /backup/ldap.bak

There are no errors in the /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

what do you mean it doesn't run. does it give you an error? does it just return you to a command prompt?

Unless we see some errors it is very difficult to diagnose

Default Migrating 32 bit to 64 bit Zimbra

Hi All..

I'm on the same situation. The error when trying:
"/opt/zimbra/openldap/sbin/slapadd -q -b "" -f /opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf -cv \ -l /backup/ldap.bak"

is the following:

bdb_db_open: unclean shutdown detected; attempting recovery.
bdb_db_open: cannot recover, database must be reinitialized.
backend_startup_one: bi_db_open failed! (-1)
slap_startup failed

Thanks a lot for any help...

YMJ

Default Migrating from 32 bit to 64 bit Zimbra on Ubuntu 8.04

I had to break down the command and ensure that all directories existed and conf-cv files. I found that one directory and file did not exist. I have reloaded the OS and will take another shot at it this week.

Default Migrating 32 bit to 64 bit Zimbra *** SOLVED ***

I got into an error following the steps described on the Wiki doc. After a clean zimbra install, I have my zimbra server running on 64 bits...

Have a nice evening.
