Migration Of Zimbra

Hi all, I am currently running ZCS 5.0.10 on fedora 7, and would like to migrate my server to Ubuntu 8.04LTS, I have followed the ZCS guide on migration, but this failed - I am assuming this is because of the change is OS.

Can anybody advise if this is actually possible?

followed that, it has in how I attempted the migration - but it, erm.. did not go to plan, ldap seemed to screw up massively - reporting nothing installed and asking me to reconfigure all the settings.
