Default Domain internal testing

Hello,

I've installed the Network Edition on my CentOS Server. I created a domain on the Administration Console. This domain has no mx record and doesn't point to my Server. But I thought I can use the Domain for internal Mails between Users but Mails between internal Users doesn't work. It looks like Postfix try to resolve the domain. Is this normal and I need a domain with correct mx record pointing to my server?

Many thanks.

Willi

Anyone an idea?

Indeed you will need a MX so ZCS can work correctly. Why not create a sub-domain and use that for testing ? Or you could setup a Split DNS - Zimbra :: Wiki architecture so that the ZCS server has its own DNS server.

Thank you so much, I always need a MX Record or I need my own dns-server?

Regards
Willi
