Default PST import tool 5.0.9 slow then fails

We're migrating from Exchange 2003 on MS SBS to ZCS open-source using v5.0.9_GA_2500 of the import wizard.

The server has 2.0gb of RAM, a 3.00ghz AMD CPU, and both machines are running 100mb NICs. The client has 1.0gb of RAM, windows XP sp2, and Outlook 2003. The PST files are not large (217mb for the one used in the listing attached) and have already been processed by scanpst.exe yet the import fails at the same point each time. I have added the clients MaxAttachSizeMB registry entry and the server's heap_memory_percent value all to no avail.

Has anybody seen this before?
