Default Groupwise migration

Hi,

I have a client that is looking for a new email solution. We are currently testing Zimbra at a couple locations, and are quite happy with it. They want to switch from Groupwise. Is there a way to migrate groupwise emails to Zimbra?

I have been searching the forum and have found little info on this.

Thanks

Not natively, but if they export an IMAP interface, you can migrate that way.

I too would be VERY interested in hearing from someone who has pulled this off ... I don't have the Groupwise expertise to do this w/o someone spoon feeding me the info - which catch22 enough is also the reason we would like to move away from Groupwise.

Default GroupWise

I heard Zimbra was working on a GroupWise migration tool. Is this correct? If so, is there an ETA on when it will be released?

Who did you hear that from? We are working on several tools but no dates are set at this time.

I will keep checking back for the GW tool.

Thanks for the quick reply!

According to http://www.zimbra.com/about/zimbra_pr_2007-01-29.html you now have GroupWise and Lotus migration tools.

Where? I see a DominoMigrationWizard-4.5.0_GA_611.exe but nothing for GroupWise.

Rich,

The groupwise migration tool is being certified as we speak. It will be made available in beta form in an upcoming 4.5.x release. Unfortunately, at this point we have yet to confirm which dot release it will make it in. You can track this issue if you'd like (http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=9621). Will keep everyone posted on the target release date once we have more information.

Thanks!

I see that the GroupWise migration wizard was released in 4.5.3. Is there any documentation hiding anywhere?
