Has anyone found any documentation for the Groupwise Migration wizard?

Thanks,

Jed.

We'll post a beta version of the groupwise docs as soon as they are available. Thanks for you patience.

Default Beta GroupWise migration wizard documentation

The beta GroupWise migration utility is documented at:

http://www.zimbra.com/docs/ne/latest...llation_guide/

This is more complete than the online help, which provides no information on the format of the required XML file.

Thanks for the docs, unfortunately this merely emphasises the issue with the migration wizard. It seems that this is designed to work only with NetWare installs.

We are using GroupWise on SUSE Enterprise and this migration wizard will not work because I do not have any Novell NetWare clients software (or a valid licence for it!) nor a NetWare server to allow login as administrator.

Will this ever work with Linux GroupWise?

Thanks,

Jed.

Hi,

You can run GroupWise migration tool on a windows machine which has "Novell client for windows" and "GroupWise client" installed. The tool has no dependency on "Novell NetWare".

Sorry for the confusion, when I talk about "Novell NetWare" I ment "Novell client for windows", regardless I still don't have a licence or a copy of it so I cannot migrate!

Later,

Jed.

Default Pretty good results but need help

I have been testing a Groupwise to Z conversion for a couple of weeks with a group of representative users.

I have been able to move the mail box and contact info as well as the calendars....YEA!

I have NOT found a way to move the shared accounts that several of our offices have, (they are groupwise resource accounts) and they do not show up in the migration wizzard.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, as a couple of these offices use the resource calendar as the 'master' for their department.

Entered Bug 17739 for this issue.

Please keep a watch here Bug 17739 - GroupWise Migration Wizard: Wizard does not display GroupWise Resource Accounts in user list
