Default [SOLVED] redirect pop3 to zimbra-smtp?

Hello,

I'm slowly cutting the ties with outlook and pop3 setup, but I am in need of a transit solution.

The main email now comes in directly at zimbra via smtp. There are (and will be for the foreseeable future) still lots of messages coming through the pop3 accounts.
Getting these messages into zimbra is not the problem thanks to the work of the developers.
What causes problems, is that these pop3 messages are not passed through the anti-virus, spam and filtering rules of Zimbra.
I know there are feature/bug vote on the subject (I voted). But till the pop3 messages are filtered/checked, I'll have a hard time getting other users to accept zimbra (and quit bugging me

As an intermediate solution, is there a way (tool) to download those messages from the pop accounts and send them on to the zimbra's smtp-port?
a pop3 to smtp converter, if you will.

I've come across fetchmail posts around here, while looking for a pop3 download. Can fetchmail a solution for me?

best regards
glenn

Yes, fetchmail should do what you need.
