What was the command you ran?
postconf -e mail_owner=postfix (or zmocalconfig -e postfix_mail_owner=postfix) followed by zmcontrol stop/start?

I ran postconf -e mail_owner=postfix. I didn't realized there was zmocalconfig -e postfix_mail_owner=postfix.

I will give that a try.

I have tried:
postconf -e mail_owner=postfix
and
zmocalconfig -e postfix_mail_owner=postfix (this one doesn't work on OSS)

Neither command changed the mail_owner to postfix for me.

Ideas?

Default What worked for me

I ran these commands from the 5.08 Release Notes.

zmlocalconfig -e ssl_allow_untrusted_certs=TRUE
and then run
zmlocalconfig -e ssl_allow_mismatched_certs=TRUE.

and then re-ran the install, everything started to work for me then.

/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmfixperms -verbose -extended
