Default Exchange Migration Wizard Slowness?

Initially we had our test environment setup on CentOS 5 and because that wasn't officially supported we switched over to Ubuntu 6.06. What I've found is that when using the migration tool it is extremely slow. To migrate 1000 messages it takes about 15 minutes in Ubuntu, with CentOS it took about 2 minutes. Is this a normal speed for Ubuntu?

Welcome to the forums.

CentOS and Ubuntu are both Linux, running similar software. There may be some reason, or bottleneck, but without investigating your system I'd have no clue.

Are you transferring the same block of 1000 messages on both systems? You can also monitor your network traffic to see if you're actually pushing data, etc.
