Default Problems using Zimbra Migration Wizard for Zimbra 5.0 vs Exchange 2000

Hello,

We're using Zimbra Migration Wizard for Zimbra 5.0 vs Exchange 2000.

We connect OK with Zimbra (we see mailboxes and domains) and we're able to select accounts from Exchange to import them into Zimbra.

Once listed the accounts to migrate, when we're migrating... we check the account exists into Zimbra, but last step in the migration fails.

We have access to Zimbra (both IP and hostname) using port 7071 (it works perfectly with IE and we can see domains and mailboxes already created from the wizard).

Looking in Zimbra forum: we've checked DNS issues, firewall, and the process is being performed from a PC Client with Outlook. All seems OK.

The problem is the infamous RPC error (marked below):

13-06-2008 14:42:03 [4064]: ZCSExchangeMigrationWizard-5.0.6_GA_2299 Version 5.0

We're stalled at this point, and any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Juanjo

EDIT:

That's the XML file:

<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"><soap:Header><context xmlns="urn:zimbra"><nonotify/><noqualify/><nosession/></context></soap:Header><soap:Body><AuthRequest xmlns="urn:zimbraAdmin"><name>admin</name><password>EDITED</password></AuthRequest></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>

I don't think this information is useful.

Welcome to the forums.

Is there anything interesting in that log file?
C:\DOCUME~1\DESARR~1\CONFIG~1\Temp\ZCSExchangeMigr ationWizard-5.0.6_GA_2299\2-RPCErrorRequest.xml

The point might be the WinHttpReceiveResponse log... but we don't know what it means.

Hi,

A brief set of steps in sequential order regarding what you did that caused the above error to appear would help us understand your problem better!

Hi Juan.

I had this issue when trying to use ZCS Wizard across the LAN. Our server was named example.domain.com but the FQDN for the server was example01.domain.com. It was solved by entering these two into the hosts file on the machine you are running the wizard on and using the server's ip or FQDN in the hostname field when running the ZCS Wizard.

I realise this is probably far too late for you, but it may help someone else in the future with this problem.

Chris
