Default Switching platforms (Ubuntu => CentOS)

I am migrating my server from Ubuntu 6.06 to CentOS 5.1 and am needing to know how best to migrate Zimbra... Am I safe simply backing up the zimbra directory and then restoring it over top of the zimbra directory under CentOS? (I know I need to install the same version...)

Thanks for any help...

Tim

That should work just fine. Just ensure that the zimbra UID/GID are the same. You can run a /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmfixperms, as root, afterwards for good measure.
