Default Skin Problem after migration from 4.5 to 5.0.3?

Hello,
we migrated our network edition 4.5 to the newest release 5.0.3.
now Zimbra crashes if i select my old customized skin.
Any Ideas why zimbra does this?
Do i need to change any specific values?

Would be great to get some hlep on this issue?

Did your customized skin by any chance follow the pattern of the old "Steel" skin, which had side buttons? Much to the chagrin of a number of us who liked them better, that whole option has been deprecated in v. 5.

Actually I understand there were a variety of changes in the underlying architecture of the skins in v. 5, which they told us left the side buttons impossible (or awfully difficult) to re-implement. I would not be at all surprised that other skinning structures may have changed too. Hate to say it, but you may need to try and re-create your skin using one of the existing v. 5 ones as your template. . .

I did changed an existing new theme(lemongrass) and i copied the files into the directory.
Now i tried the command "zmskindeploy", but zimbra gave me some errorcode like "cp: cannot stat '' no such file or directory" bla bla
and at the end zimbra says that i should do "mailboxd restart" to fully activate the skin.
What is mailboxd restart? Theres nothing in the wiki: ZWC 5.0 Themes

Do you know what to do, to deploly a new skin normally?

I presume you are carefully reading the instructions on "Skin Deployment" in the wiki ZWC 5.0 Themes. Did you also notice further up in the same document, that your skin name and directory name must be identical, including case?

Did you try the temporary assessment of the skin using these instructions?
Code:
To test your new skin, add the url parameter "skin=<skinname>" to the normal URL you use to access ZWC:
					http://your.server.com/zimbra/?skin=pumpkin
That wiki is a long and complex document. I can't tell you exactly where your error might be, but there are plenty of little details that could be overlooked that would cause a burp. . .post back more details and maybe some of the skinning experts (of whom I am NOT one) can give you more useful guidance.

Yeah i read the Wiki-Article,

and all i changed was:
- another Logo, another LoginBanner
- skin name in the file skin.properties
- name of the directory similar to the skin name

thats all i changed, and after "zmdeploy dir/" the directory is filled with another directory called "beach". isnt this strange?

And it gives me the error "no such file or directory"
