Hi

we have been trying to migrate user mailbox for some time now but the problem we facing is as below

-we have 110 users mailbox to be migrated
-we do not want to go around and change the user password just to migrate mail box (if we can).
-we basically want that user shouldn't have to do anything to start using zimbra mail server.

will this be possible? on wiki and forum we found some solution which required us to know user password which is somthing we want to avoid if we can.

Thank you in advance for your help

How is the user mail stored on the old server? If it's in MBOX format then I found this script worked well for our migration. Further discussion in this thread.

Hey guys,

I'm using this script to migrate mbox to zimbra....

It looks like OK...

I see in the command line the messages being processed.

But when i entered the zimbra account a few messages were migrate...

I see only messages that were sent/receive in the month of february (actual month).

What could be happening?

Please open a new thread instead of posting to a solved one from a year ago It would be helpful if your were to update your profile with the output from the following so we know which version of ZCS you are running
Code:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v
