Default Perl script for converting imap format > Zimbra format

I am trying to find a perl script that will allow us to convert current existing IMAP format to zimbra format.

We hare moving from a Sendmail/Dovecot CentOS by the way

Wouldn't this procedure be a better option?

If your old dovecot server is still running, you may want to consider migrating using the imapsync perl script.

right, I have definitely looked at the imapsync tool. I guess one of the major factors here, is that our current Dovecot system is literally on its last leg. The thing has been held together by band-aids for god knows how long (I just started here 3 wks ago) so now the house of cards is finally crumbling after much neglect.

We have started moving users to Zimbra just so they stop taxing the current sendmail/Dovecot box with tons of IMAP requests.

The notion of the PERL script was suggested from my coworker who is much more knowledgeable about this (and he knows of the imapsync tool) but in lieu of the fact that we dont really have the luxury of a nice planned migration with adequate time for testing, etc.. is why we are looking at a fast move using the perl script to modify the imap > zimbra format in the background.

That make sense?

any experienced suggestions or past projects that you or anyone can weigh in on here will be extremely helpful.

Thanks!!

btw, i'm already using Zimbra (coming from YEARS of OLK use, and being an Exchange 2003/2007 admin) and it rocks.
