Default MTA problem on new server

hi guys,

i need to migrating ZCS NE from server to another server..
so i've made a backup on the old server, and importend on the new one (same release SLES10 and NE release 5.0.2)..

all mailbox was imported successfully (via webUI), but when a mail arrive to the new server on the adminstration pannel i get a deffered messages, with the reason:

"could not connect to oldserver.mydomain.com[xx.xx.xx.xx], no route to host"

what's this?!?

i've already changed the MX record to point on new server, the old server is up only for the BES to push the mail while i'm migrating to new one..

anyone can tell what i've to do?
the problem is the backup that has imported also the name of old server?

thanks!

You should keep the same server name when you set-up your new machine: Moving ZCS to New Server - Zimbra :: Wiki or you could try a Disaster Recovery restore: Network Edition Disaster Recovery - Zimbra :: Wiki

You should just check that you have a Gateway specified on your new server, the 'no route to host' can be caused by that (but it's probably the wrong servername causing it).

You can also take a stab at ZmSetServerName - Zimbra :: Wiki if you'd like.

i think that the cause is the new server try to route the messages to the old server..

the gateway is right, monday i'll try to clean up all new server and see if it works without the restore of backup
