Post what is best way to migrate

I had setup opensource zcs 4.5 server in my local premises, which is in
production envirnoment for one customer with 90 mailboxes

Now, we have taken space in vsnl datacenter and plan to put zimbra there
on new blade server.

I need to migrate zimbra from local server to blade server which is at ISP

what is the best way to do that

please provide me the steps, if you have to do that ?????

Regards,
chandu

what if you want to migrate from 4.5.6 NE to a new server and go straight into 5.0.2? or should i wait for 5.0.3?

edit

4.5.6 > 4.5.11 > 5.0.2
4.5.11 & 5.0.2 Released!

Chandu so you're not confused, you do need to use the exact same zimbra version # when doing the server switch as outlined in step 3 (you can use a different operating system of course, but the zcs version number should be the same).

IP or hostname?
IP you just update your hosts file, internal & external DNS, etc.
If you keep the hostname the same it will go much smoother - should you want it though see: ZmSetServerName - Zimbra :: Wiki
