Default Maildir Migration
I am currently using qmail with courier IMAP and vpopmail. How do I go about migrating? Does Zimbra use Maildir format?

No, Zimbra doesn't use maildir format. Have you considered using imapsync to sync the messages over to the Zimbra server?
