Sync Issues Folder

We are using 5.0GA FOSS on Ubuntu 6.06LTS.

After importing all items from Outlook I am left with a "Sync Issues" folder that I cannot delete. In fact all the contextual menu items are shadowed. I would prefer to remove all remnants of Outlook if possible. Any advice on how to delete this folder and whether or not I should delete it?

hi,

the sync issues folders are folders that are not synced back to the server and they will contain messages that help outline issues during the sync process between outlook and the zimbra server. they are created and registered in such a way that they act almost identically to the same folder hiercharchy that is created when you use outlook in cached mode against exchange.

unfortunately you are not able to delete those folders.
