Migrationg from Exchange 2003

Hello,

I have a Microsoft Small Business 2003 server that runs exchange for my company, we are trying to migrate to a xserve powered by osx 10.4 server. I have zimbra up and running so the next logical step was the Exchange Migration Tool. Whenever I run that it fails to import all of my accounts and gives me the following message in the log file. Any Sugguestions?

Sorry I am a young system administrator and this is my first attempt at migrating anything so I am pretty much at a loss.

This would indicate that it can't find the server, do you have correct DNS A & MX records pointing to your server and a correct /etc/hosts file?

well the exchange currently is its own dns server, and the osx server is also a dns server but they dont point to each other, should i make the exchange server point to the new dns server?

If you're running the Migration Wizard on the Exchange box then it can't resolve the name/ip of the Zimbra server and therefore it doesn't run. You need to have your DNS resolve the IP of the Zimbra server, you shouldn't need two DNS servers for that.
