    Default importing users from csv sheet?

    sweet, thanks.

    Now what if I wanted to bulk add a bunch of users from a CSV sheet? I can structure it however need be. I found this link:
    Bulk Provisioning - Zimbra :: Wiki

    But it's a bit ridiculous.

    Thanks again

    now that we have all 3 of your posts in one place - lol (you just hit the duplicates moderation)

    You are asking to provision users correct? (I think john was thinking that you we're asking about address books)

    took out a bunch because we'll just assume your throwing them in the default cos:

    #!/usr/bin/perl
    while (<>) {
    chomp;

    # In a post that you've just deleted-you gave the contents of your csv as userName (assuming that's the full @domain.com email usually peple split it into $uid\@$domain),passWord,firstName,LastName

    my ($userName, $passWord, $firstName, $LastName) = split(/\,/, $_, 4);

    print qq{ca $userName $passWord\n};
    print qq{ma $userName givenName "$firstName"\n};
    print qq{ma $userName sn "$LastName"\n};
    print qq{ma $userName displayName "$firstName $LastName"\n};
    print qq{\n};
    }

    and then repeated the line like that in the csv, did a find and replace and replaced all the commas with spaces. SMRT
