Default migrating with perl script from openldap with zmprov

Hi,

I am trying to migrate my users across from our LDAP directory to zimbra's openldap (to take advantage of the samba and posixgroup extensions).

I have a perl script that creates "createAccount" line for each user.

I want to bulk import the "street" attribute but of course it is spread over many lines.
Level blah
555 Street name
City postcode etc etc

I've tried "level blah \n 555 street \n..." in double quotes or single quotes but it doesn't have the line breaks.

Anyone know of a way to make this work?

Also say I have a fedora DS server with my nsroles already defined, how do I make distribution groups in zimbra from these?

Thanks in advance,

Denmat

Thumbs up zmprov and new-line

You can try adding single-quotes with your CR-LF's.

zmprov ma <account> street 'Line 1
Line 2
Line 3'
