    check this out,
    Bulk Provisioning - ZimbraWiki
    also you can check this to query your ldap server and create a file to use with zmprov,
    Net::LDAP::Examples - PERL LDAP by Example - search.cpan.org

    basically you need a file that contains this:
    createDomain
    createAccount ???@blah.com password displayName '??? ???' givenName ??? sn ???

    I'm trying to use the CSV File to Zmprov.
    So i craeted a CSV file with username;passwrod (MD5) like that:
    username@company.com;8mVJUy4MqhZDLt76wnPGsA==

    than I create a zmp file :

    # perl csv2zmprov < csvfile > mydata.zmp

    and

    # cat mydata.zmp | su - zimbra -c zmprov

    And get this error:

    prov> usage: createAccount(ca) {name@domain} {password} [attr1 value1 [attr2 value2...]]
    prov> prov> usage: modifyAccount(ma) {name@domain|id} [attr1 value1 [attr2 value2...]]
    prov> Unknown command. Type: 'help commands' for a list
    prov> usage: modifyAccount(ma) {name@domain|id} [attr1 value1 [attr2 value2...]]
    prov> Unknown command. Type: 'help commands' for a list
    prov> usage: modifyAccount(ma) {name@domain|id} [attr1 value1 [attr2 value2...]]
    prov> Unknown command. Type: 'help commands' for a list
    prov> usage: modifyAccount(ma) {name@domain|id} [attr1 value1 [attr2 value2...]]

    ......................................

    I don't know what am I doing wrong. Any idea?

    Password should be in clear, not encrypted.

    The problem is I have all passwords encrypted (MD5). Is there a solution for that?
    Can I convert MD5 passwords to plain text?

    Ok, I found the solution from this thread:
    Migrating accounts/users from passwd/shadow file?

    Just substitute crypt for MD5 and using some sed filtering commandas and in the end zmprov to insert al the users and passwords into zimbra, like that:

    ma user@domain.com userPassword '{MD5}8nVJUy4MqhZDLx76fnPGsA==' zimbraMailQuota 150000000
