imapsync: 'excess characters at end of command'?

Hi,

I'm receiving the following imapsync[1] message while trying to migrate[2] a single user account:

'Error login : [zimbra.myend.tld] with user [me] : 3 BAD parse error: excess characters at end of command'

Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Try putting the Zimbra password in quotes.

Well, I was using the 'passfile' option, so I didn't think this to be the problem. I gave it a shot with quoted passwords on the command line; but, unfortunately, I still get the same error message.

Does it work when you test with a username/password combo that are just alphanumerics?
