Default revert the Trial to the Open Source Edition

Hi,

This is partly answered in the FAQ but...
In the FAQ it says "You can no longer add new user accounts" so it confuses me because with the Open Source edition, you should still be able to add new accounts.

When the trial finishes does it automatically revert to the Open Source edition?

Or do I need to backup and run an install of the Open Source edition?

You need to install the Open Source edition over the top of your NE install (just extract and run the ./install.sh script) to keep your data and convert to the OSS edition.

There is a thread in the forums about what does, and doesn't, continue to work after your trial finishes - basically NE doesn't stop immediately and you'll have 30 days to get the OSS version installed.

You're welcome.

I did forget the obvious addition to that info - always take a backup when you do anything important like this.
