Push and Pull or Just Pull?

Is the iSync connector a push and pull thing or just a pull? We're having a problem where if we add a calendar event on the Palm and do a sync it syncs to iCal but then it doesn't sync to Zimbra. Adding an item in Zimbra does make it way back to the Palm though.

most definately should be bi-directional. do you see anything interesting in the logs after you create an appointment?
