Cool Dumping Opensuse. Now the journey with Ubuntu

Hello all,
After many hours troubleshooting Zimbra + Samba PDC on Opensuse10.2, I'm dumping it for a moment.

I'm now working on Ubuntu 6.10 and so far so good.

However I've got this message with restarting Samba:
Code:
fajar@ubuntu07:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/samba restart
 * Stopping Samba daemons...                                            [ ok ]
 * Starting Samba daemons... /usr/sbin/nmbd: /opt/zimbra/cyrus-sasl/lib/libsasl2.so.2: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libldap_r.so.2)
/usr/sbin/smbd: /opt/zimbra/cyrus-sasl/lib/libsasl2.so.2: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libldap_r.so.2)
Samba is starting though. Is it ok?
Thanks

Looks like it's not OK:
Code:
root@ubuntu07:~# smbclient -U adminsmb //ubuntu07.terran.com/adminsmb
smbclient: /opt/zimbra/cyrus-sasl/lib/libsasl2.so.2: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libldap_r.so.2)
Password:
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
Code:
Jul  5 03:15:27 ubuntu07 smbd[4279]:   check_ntlm_password:  Authentication for user [adminsmb] -> [adminsmb] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_USER

Default Same message - different issue

I'm getting the same message on debian 4.0 with zimbra installed together with a running apache installation (zimbra webmail just listens to a port other than 80 and it works fine)

when I start apache, I'm getting that message...

now, I have a php application trying to connect over IMAP to the zimbra server and it fails.. IMAP is working, as I've tested it on a different machine with thunderbird...

It seems like IMAP access for php is screwed..

same fix here:
Using Apache with Zimbra
will apply to samba, same problem. shouldn't actually affect running, just annoying warning.

for debian-4, make sure you have php5-imap package installed:
apt-get install php5-imap
