I think you would actually want to mount /opt on your /dev/sda2 drive. If that is not an option, and you want to make opt a subdirectory of /home then you may want to make a symbolic link of /home/opt to /opt. Not sure if there are any issues with the Zimbra install in this case, but it seems easier than modifying the install script.

Yes, it was mount /opt on another drive I was suggesting just as soxfan said. If you use a symlink you may have problems during upgrades, there was a problem with that and I don't know if it's been resolved yet.

I try a lot of think today, ...

create a symbolic link ...
change script .sh patch ...

I alaways have a same probleme :

exemple
Restoring existing configuration file from /opt/zimbra/.saveconfig/config.save...done
chown: cannot access `/home/opt/zimbra/java/jre/lib/security/cacerts': No such file or directory
chown: cannot access `/home/opt/zimbra/tomcat/conf/keystore': No such file or directory
chown: cannot access `/home/opt/zimbra/conf/perdition.key': No such file or directory
install.sh: line 202: /home/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl: No such file or directory

Hi

Try using a bind mount, that way you don't need to hack the installer at all:

mount --bind
ie
mount --bind /home/opt /opt

You can make it permanent in /etc/fstab:
/home/opt /opt ext3 rw,bind 0 0

Should be a lot more robust than symlinks
