SSL certificate problem(?) Tomcat not working

Over the weekend I got the following error in the Tomcat catalina.out logfile:

SEVERE: Catalina.start
LifecycleException:  Protocol handler initialization failed: 
java.io.IOException: Cannot recover key

This indicates, as far as I reckon that there is something wrong with the keystore.

A stop and start of services with zmcontrol stop; zmcontrol start shows everything working, but when zmcontrol status is ran I get the following:

        antivirus               Stopped
                zmclamdctl is not running
        ldap                    Running
        logger                  Stopped
                logmysql.server is not running
        mailbox                 Stopped
                mysql.server is not running
        mta                     Running
        snmp                    Running
        spell                   Running

I have tried to run through the instructions recommended in the Wiki for getting a totally new certificate chain in place with no luck (SSL Certificate Problems - ZimbraWiki, CLI zmcreatecert and zmcertinstall (for a certificate) - ZimbraWiki).

Does anyone have anything that could help me getting from this point to a working system again?

What happened here? Did you have a power failure or something?

Typically, if tomcat doesn't start, or if there are cert issues, that has nothing to do with mysql or logger.

Can you show us your logs:
/opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log
/opt/zimbra/tomcat/logs/catalina.out
