Default ERR - Unknown Command (AUTH)

When trying to pop into Zimbra using anything but a plain text password, I log this error. SSL or not. If I use a plain text password all appears ok.

I am so close to making this whole thing work with the exception of this pop problem.

HELP!!!!

You can go into the adminui and toggle the clear text option in both Pop3 and IMAP.

Default Plain text lpgin

I don't want to use plain text. I'm looking for more security than that.

The secure login should work. At least according to the documentation.

I did not ask you to turn off SSL, I was simply asking you to verify your settings. My apologies for not being clear.

If you have SSL on, then please post the auth failed from your audit.log

Default audit.log

I see the auth failure in the mailbox log but not the audit log.

Should it be in the audit log?
