Default perdition does not proxy to other server

Test environment.

Server1 (mail.zimbratest.com)
Server2 (zimbra2.zimbratest.com)
Both have perdition configured and started.

Test-Account1 (Server1)
Test-Account2 (Server2)

Test-Account1 (Server1)
I can connect to Test-Account1 via Server1 through ports 993 and 7993
I can NOT connect to Test-Account1 via Server2 (or Test-Account2 via Server1)
Attached Files
File Type: txt server1.txt (2.7 KB, 95 views)
File Type: txt server2.txt (2.6 KB, 87 views)

Do you think that this could be related?
Bug 14929 - perdition fails to start

Also, if you run a zmperditionctl start, do you get any error output?

Solved. Self Inflicted ~perhaps.

Thanks to Jason Bryan in support.

We do not use our domain names in our user name fields on our mail clients.

Perdition was expecting a username@sub.domain.tld

I was only suppling username

I tested with username@sub.domain.tldand it works as is.

I have the changes needed for perdition.conf.in to make it work with username only...

What are the configuration changes to allow for username only? And if you make those changes can you also do username@domain alongside username?

No one answered it... figured it out...

You need to add to perdition.conf (I don't know when this is regenerated from perdition.conf.in though), then restart perdition. Do it on all servers...

e domain.org

BTW, is this a bug ? It's not mentioned on the wiki - will try to add it there...
