Default upgrade issue from 4.5.4 to 4.5.5

I've just run the upgrade and have come to some unfamiliar output;

Main menu

1) Hostname: grange.xxxx.net.au
** 2) Ldap master host: UNSET
3) Ldap port: 389
** 4) Ldap password: UNSET
5) zimbra-ldap: Disabled
6) zimbra-store: Disabled
7) zimbra-mta: Disabled
8) zimbra-snmp: Disabled
9) zimbra-logger: Disabled
10) zimbra-spell: Disabled
11) Enable default backup schedule: yes
r) Start servers after configuration yes
s) Save config to file
x) Expand menu
q) Quit

Address unconfigured (**) items or correct ldap configuration (? - help)

whats the go here?? last 4 upgrades I've done I've never seen anything like this. Atm my mail server is now offline, I see nothing in the docs about this new output, and since my mail server if borked I can't communicate to Zimbra via the support system. This is the Network edition on RHEL.

if I set the 2 that are marked unset I get;

[zimbra@grange bin]$ zmcontrol start
Host grange.langs.net.au
Starting ldap...Done.
[zimbra@grange bin]$ zmcontrol status
Cannot determine services - exiting
[zimbra@grange bin]$

logger Stopped
logmysql.server is not running
zmlogswatchctl is not running

zmcontrol status.

but atleast the server is operating again.. would be nice to get some warning about the upgrade procedure changing.

The upgrade procedure hasn't changed, the usual reason for that error is a DNS problem. What was it you did to fix it? What happens if you try to start those services manually.

DNS has not changed on that machine since it was installed, and it has a current uptime of 246 days.

I had to go through all the items on the new output and setup a heap of settings again, most had nothing to do with dns, just as the LDAP password, spam / ham accounts etc etc.

I did not say your DNS had changed I said a DNS 'problem' which can also mean it was not contactable during the upgrade.

If you had to enter all the items again, did you run the installer more than once?

As you already have a support case active I'll leave you with that for the moment instead of duplicating the questions/answers.
