Default Zimbra takes a wrong domain

Hi mates,

I am installing Zimbra in different educational centers quite succesfully, but I have some little problems.

I have well configure external and internal DNS with a created subdomain (type sub.enterprise.com) being mail.sub.enterprise.com the name of the machine which have the Zimbra Server installed. I have add too the A records of zimbra, pop, smtp and imap in the external and internal DNS.

Well, the problem is that Zimbra is taking as domain the name of the machine. In example, all the users are of the type "user@mail.sub.enterprise.com" and I dont know why this.

Anyone with the same issue?

regards

Yes, that's normal unless you change the domain name when you're asked to during the install. If you don't change the domain name it will take the hostname.

Instead of reinstalling you can also just make a new domain in the admin console
