Default Recovering missing contacts

Hi,

we have the open source edition 4.5.4 running on a debian 3.1. Now we have the problem, that a user is missing his contacts and his shared contacts. The folder are all there, but they are empty. We have a complete backup of the installation. Where do we found the according files, the contacts are stored in?

If you are using the Zimbra web client and you haven't already done so I'd recommend clearing the browser cache and/or trying from another workstation to verify that they really are missing.

I've tried it from 3 different maschines with different browsers and with thunderbird as imap-client. There is nothing to see. And the recycle bin is also empty.

Did you follow the critical bug alert fix?

If you can, I'd recommend just restoring your whole installation as getting into the mysql metadata is very messy, and will likely break your installation.

Sorry, I had to ask about trying other workstations. I'd hate to see you go through some type of restore process for nothing. I don't really have an answer for you on how to restore contacts. I believe I saw something on the forums over the last week or so about where/how the contacts are stored. You may want to search around a bit. Hopefully someone else will jump in and provide you a better answer.
