Hi there! How r u. Liste i got a «A LITTLE» stopped, or let me say blocked while installing Zimbra on my computer, i use UBUNTU 6.06 and the Zimbra is the last version 4.5.5. and i'm blocked by something i don't understand very well. Can you help please!!! I do remember having seen it on the forum but don't remember where.

Take a look at the dpkg db and see if something is foobared in there.
Also, the installation log may be helpful.

the two most common errors seen at the point you're getting to are:

1) Installing 386 packages onto x64 server

2) Your previous attempts have created corrupted/incomplete files in /opt/zimbra. Remove /opt/zimbra entirely (rm -rf /opt/zimbra) before trying to install, assuming you don't have any data you want to keep. This way zimbra will do a fresh install rather than attempt an upgrade of a broken install.

It will not dpkg with apt or synaptic running...
