Default Installation gets stuck - CentOS 4.5

Hello everybody

I have installed a CentOS 4.4 ServerCD wich upgraded itself to 4.5 after the first yum. Downloaded zcs4.5.5 for RHEL4.

When I run install.sh I answer yes to all questions except for the Spell.
The installation runs fine, up to the point where zimbra-store is being installed. There it says zimbra-store installation... done and does nothing for hours.

Welcome to the forums.

What's in the install logs? Have you setup your /etc/hosts file correctly and your DNS A & MX records?

Thanks for the welcome

1. Where do I find the logs?
2. the hosts file is set up right
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
10.0.0.252 mail.i-gofman.com mail
(I am running behind NAT - a simple hardware router where I forwarded the ports to the servers in the LAN)
3. the MX and A records are set on the ISP's DNS servers with the external IP for mail.i-gofman.com (could it be the problem here?)

The problem is your DNS records, you'll need a local DNS server for a split DNS setup. The install log name is listed on the console when you do the install.

OK, I've set up the DNS on the local MSserver, looks like the installation passed the dead stop mark.

Thanks! This is the fastest support I ever got on any product )
