Exclamation [SOLVED] fc6 install problem

Hi there,
This product looks amazing and i cant wait to start using it but i am having serious problems on fc6:

------
...
blah blah
..
Checking for required space...
/opt/zimbra requires at least 5GB of space to install.
2GB is not enough space to install.

Installation cancelled.

------
i have over 60GB available and am installing under root from my desktop on fedora core 6.

please can someone help me with my misery......

Thanks very much

Well, the first thing is FC6 isn't a supported version for Zimbra. Do you actually have enough space on your root partition or wherever /opt is going?

hi bill,
Sorry no my partition seems to only be 5 g in total, can i set it so that it looks in another partiton other than the one which opt/zimbra is running? or do you know of a way of resizing the root partition on a remote server with no cd drive to boot from?

Thanks very much

If you don't have anything else in the /opt partition you could create it on another drive/partition. The problem at the moment is that if you use a symlink, IIRC, to an /opt/zimbra directory on another partition/drive will get wiped during an upgrade. Have a look in the forums to check that or in bugzilla.
