Then I guess the installation didn't go too well. Have you read the documentation about system requirements and what changes need to be made for a successful install? Have you searched the forums for some troubleshooting tips? What does 'zmcontrol status' show?

You do realise that Zimbra isn't supported on SuSE9 (unless you're talking about SLES9?) and that you should install it on openSuSE 10.

It would also have been more useful to put this in a new thread as it didn't relate to the one you posted it in, I'll move it.

Sorry, I got the same problem like stated in that thread.

Well, I've uninstall it and install it back. Now it runs well, both the admin console and I have tried to add users. Then, I try to send e-mail by using the user account. The following network has occured :

method - AjxRpc.prototype._invoke
detail - [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIXMLHttpRequest.send]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: http://192.168.0.5/zimbra/js/Ajax_al...v=070503173923 :: anonymous :: line 1634" data: no]
code - AjxException.UNKNOWN_ERROR
msg - Unknown Error

Can u help me out? Thank U..

In the zmcontrol status, it shows that the MTA has stopped and postfix is not running.

Upload your /var/log/zimbra.log and /opt/zimbra/mailbox.log files.
That will provide more info.

You may wish to change your hostname in the logs prior to uploading.

I have tried to view those files but they are empty. Is it suppose to be like that?

No, it's not supposed to be like that. Have you disabled the firewall and/or SElinux (or whatever SuSE uses) on your server?

Default Same error only with web client on OS ver 4.5.5

method - AjxRpc.prototype._invoke
detail - [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIXMLHttpRequest.send]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: https://mail.hsri.com/zimbra/js/Ajax...v=070503181054 :: anonymous :: line 1634" data: no]
code - AjxException.UNKNOWN_ERROR
msg - Unknown Error

POP3 seems to be working fine inbound/outbound but the web client gives above error when trying to send. If I attempt to send again I get the following:

msg - Csfe service error
code - NETWORK_ERROR
method - ZmCsfeCommand.prototype.invoke
detail - Empty HTTP response

I also cannot seem to get the server to send the out-of-office replies nor the forwards through filters. Is this possibly related considering the options for these are in the web client?

I have seen Tomcat fail and throw java heap errors but it does not make sense. mysql at 40% java at 30% RHEL 4 and 2.5gig ram with only 60 accounts and light load. Dual 2.8 Xeon. This is happening even during the middle of the night with no one on it.

Default continued

I do not have a firewall or SElinux going on this. It seems to affect only the web client and occasionally the admin console. This is apparently an old issue and I have searched and found bits and pieces related to this but no solution. Any help would really be appreciated.
