Default zimbra email dns setup

Hi

i want to pick up my mail from a stored pop3 folder our mail server and filter it into the user folders onto the zimbra server.

our domain is
celroofing.co.uk

i have set the email server as
email.celroofing.co.uk

i have followed the setup guide and setup a split DNS setup for the domain also
i checked the split DNS is working, and it resolved email.celroofing.co.uk to the server zimbra is on
192.168.42.6

zimbra is installed and running fine

but my issue is with the domain setup some where it seems

the server is using
user@email.celroofing.co.uk
instead of
user@celroofing.co.uk

as when i try to send an email from a user to a user (internal) i get this error
The Postfix program

: host mailserver.celroofing.co.uk[213.171.216.67]
said: 550 : Sender address rejected: Domain
not found (in reply to MAIL FROM command)

where as if i send email to
user@email.celroofing.co.uk
it will sort the email to the local user no problem!

i am not sure where i have gone wrong here...as i have read over the install and searched the split dns on wiki and forum and my setup match's up to others here.

thank you for your time and help
Robert

If you don't create a domain during the initial install set-up (it asks you if you want to create a domain) then Zimbra will use the hostname. You'll just need to create a new domain (in the Admin UI) and set it to the default,.

Can the configuration part of the setup be re-runned?

I did add the new domain (same domain, without the hostname) but when I changed the domain for the admin account, it still displays the old domain hostname.domain.com as the mail server, is this normal?
