okay.. web admin gui now reflects that logger is running.. can someone point me in the right direction to see where/why it stopped? as well as if there is a solution for email alerts when services stop?

Red face

I'm doing a quick read through this thread and have the problem where my logger service stops. The bug report says it's fixed, but how do I get my logger service running again when it does stop? Sorry if I am missing the obvious in the bug report...

Thx!

Try running zmlogswatchctl stop and then zmlogswatchctl start. In our environment, doing this has changed a zmcontrol status command to report that the logger is 'Running' rather than 'Stopped zmlogswatchctl is not running', and the Server status through admin gui now reports all ticks.
