Exclamation Cant send emails/Cant create accounts

We installed the open source version of Zimbra in our internal (192.168.x.x) linux servers. Now while I attempt to send a mail (internal/external) from the admin account, I get this error message in a popup window:

A network service error has occurred.

msg - system failure: MessagingException
code - service.FAILURE
method - ZmCsfeCommand.prototype.invoke
detail - soap:Receiver

What may be the solution for this?

I browsed http://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?tit...Routing_Issues but that didn't solve the prob.

======

I was trying to create a new user account in the admin console. But once I enter a Account name (say richard) I get this error message (in red) at the top of the input box: Value did not match valid values. And I cant proceed after the "Advanced" tab. The 'Next' button remains disabled.

Why so?

Any help will be appreciated.

What version of Zimbra and OS are you using? Sounds like a networking problem - DNS, firewall, etc. May want to have a look at system (/var/log/messages) and Zimbra (/opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log) logs for more info.

What is ZPL 1.2?

Have you read the quick start guide and set-up your hosts file, DNS A & MX records correctly? Have you also disabled SElinux & your firewall? Have you removed any mail server that RHEL might have installed?

Why don't you answer the questions I've asked above and in your other post?

We ultimately resolved it and tanks to you all. A big tanx to Zimbra for building such a nice forum apart from the collaboration suit

My next question ..

When A schedules a meeting with B and C, an automated mail is sent for notification. They also get a popup for reminders provided they are logged in which is fine.

What if they are not logged in? Can they still get a popup something like Yahoo and other IRCs?

Tanks in advance!

A request is currently open for the ability to send calendar event reminder notifications to another external email address or SMS enabled phone.

Your mention of yahoo/whatever IRC service: you're still technically logged in somewhere. Possibly via a tray utility, browser toolbar, or browser extension.

There is currently no separate download link for this, but the Zimbra toaster (currently provided in Zimbra Desktop) will hopefully, eventually provide calendar notifications.
