Default external ldap redundancy

Hello,

I'm using zimbra and an external ldap directory service.
Is it possible to set up zimbra to authenticate against 2 ldap servers ?

Thanks,

Well, the answer is obviously YES.
It's just a matter of adding another ldap url when configuring external authentication for a domain.

I was also happily surprised to see that I could use a special ldap clone with arbitrarily changed passwords to use in conjunction with imapsync for the migration, while at the same time, use the official ldap server (so that each user can log in with 2 different passwords).

Regards,

How is this accomplished?

I find no documentation on the fact that you can specify more than one URL. And the LDAP authentication wizard doesn't allow you to specify more than one LDAP URL. Is this valid? Or one of those undocumented features that is likely to break in the future?

I currently have an admin user on my machine that has local authentication so if I need to switch the LDAP authentication server I can. But it would be nice to know there is a way to configure automatic fail-over to a replica.
