[SOLVED] Rebranding question

We have just installed ZCS 4.5.4 Network Edition and are working our way through the rebranding process. We have looked through the forum, wiki, and documents and pretty much all of the rebranding done with one exception. When we change the value for ImgAppBanner the logo does change correctly. We have changed the LogoURL in both the base, white, and light skins and made sure that the value is not set in the particular skin we have preset the users to, but the URL does not seem to change. We have evrything working just fine for the login screen, but just can not seem to get past this one hitch.

Does anyone have any pointers on where we need to go to get this one rebranding change to work?

Thanks for the information, but I already have that change in place. The problem is not with the logo or it's URL redirect on the splash page, but with the logo and it's URL redirect on the first application page once you have actually logged in (upper left corner).

Here's a bit more information. The problem only seems to occur with certain skins and not others. Any of the skins which show the tabs at the top such as sand the upper left logo redirect works correctly. Any of the skins that use the icons down the left side rather than the tabs at top such as steel the upper left logo redirect does not work correctly. Actually in some cases the skins with the icons down the left side some display the zimbra logo and zimbra redirect and some display our logo with the zimbra redirect.

It's rather frustrating at the moment as it seems some of the rebranding is working just fine and some is not dependent upon the skin in use.

Also had that issue.

In the section in each theme_subs.txt file (where it actually lists that same "LogoURL" over 3 times) I commented all those out

modified just the _base skin to have one LogoURL, and one LogoImgDir (the .xml files take care of the rest) restarted, and was fine (minus the html/basic client)

might run a full zmcontrol stop/start
didn't agree with me on just tomcat restart
also be sure to entirely clear out the browser cache...while skinning i've noticed that it keeps a lot of content in cache-changed something dramatic-didn't notice it show up, turned to another comp, and was utterly surprised

I tried the suggestion mmorse and it stil did not resolve the issue with certain skins. In particulr the steel, bare, and vanilla. All of the other skins rspond to the rebranding correctly.

steel is kinda unique

vanilla and bare make use of
_base/white/white_subs.txt


almost everything else uses
_base/light/light_subs.txt


so might want to check the 'white' file itself to be sure the logo path is correct

Thanks. I'll poke around on those and see if I can figure out what is happening. For right now I've just excluded those skins from the available list.
