Default LDAP server

Hi, I`m trying to install zimbra with vmware, but with no ldap server, at the initial configuration menu i leave the ldap server in black and desable the service. My config file are like this:

i make more 15 installations, on fedora, on ubuntu, on suse,,, someone can help-me please?

You can't run Zimbra without it's LDAP, if this is a single server then LDAP must be installed.

[edit] Please don'tpost duplicate messages, it makes it difficult to help fix your problems - I'll delete the other post.

I've already answered this question before, is there some reason you didn't believe my last answer?

We support a couple of other platforms that you didn't try. If those don't work for you, you might try enabling LDAP as Bill suggested twice.

But please don't start new threads when questions have already been answered.

ok,,, I will set zimbra-ldap to enable, but i need to have some ldap server??? or can i leave the ldap server in blank???

The installer will create the ldap server, you just need to enter the hostname of the host you are installing it on. If you don't know what that is it defaults to the local host name.

I'd suggest taking a good look at the installation guide if you don't understand, what this is or why it's required.

wow, this is the best install step-by-step that i haved see... tomorrow i don't work, but wednesday i will try it. thanks

more one question...
How do i enter at the config menu??? the same config menu that open after finish install???

i need to enter at this config menu to set the ldap server and enable zimbra-ldap
