Default Where are all the configuration options?

Hi all

I installed Zimbra on a Debian 4 (v)Server. But after the installation process there are not all the configuration options like they are in documentation. Well it looks like this:

Main menu

1) Hostname: host.domain.tld
** 2) Ldap master host: UNSET
3) Ldap port: 389
** 4) Ldap password: UNSET
r) Start servers after configuration yes
s) Save config to file
x) Expand menu
q) Quit

Address unconfigured (**) items or correct ldap configuration (? - help)

What should I do to get it working?

Thanks for any help!

Did you make the changes mentioned in the menu list you've just posted? Have you read the system requirements in the Quick Start Guide? Do you have a correct /etc/hosts file & correct DNS A & MX records?

There are no errors due to dns setup (I had before but it seems to be fixed). I think I don't met the hardware requirements. And Yes made the changes in the menu list -> nothing changed.

What are your hardware specifications? The problem you're having is because LDAP isn't starting, there must be more in the install log here /tmp/zmsetup.log.1515 You can also check the wiki for troubleshooting LDAP problems. I thought we only provided a build for Debian 3.1? That may be causing you a problem.

zmsetup.pl dynamically builds the menu based on installed packages. For debian that query is something like

dpkg -s zimbra-core | egrep '^Status: ' | grep 'not-installed'"

Post the output of that command and it should give us an idea of why it won't generate the menus.
