Default Https as default

Is there a way to make https the default mode. Whenever server is rebooted it currently defaults back to http mode and I have to use zmtlsctl utility to reset to https

To set it permanently with zmtlsctl, are you doing that?

Yes - but when system is rebooted, it defaults back to http every time. I have to use "zmtlsctl https after every reboot .... I guess I could write a script to do that but would be nice if you could set that as a default

looks like the localconfig.xml isn't getting changed.

run the zmfixperms script located in /opt/zimbra/libexec

The default is stored as a server attribute in ldap, which zmtlsctl should be updating. You can verify the current setting with:

zmprov -l gs zimbraMailMode

If zmtlsctl isn't updating this value make sure zmhostname is returning the correct name for your server.
