Default Installing Zimbra NE on CentOS 4.4

Does anyone know if the CentOS 4.4 ServerCD disc has everything on it that Zimbra NE needs to run?

I run the 4.5 Server disc in VMWare.
You will probably need the normal dependencies, but it works.

Default Not sure i explained that quite right

So CentOS has version 4.4 available on 4 isos or one ServerCD iso with less fluff. I'm wondering if I can run Zimbra 4.5 on CentOS using just their ServerCD for the install or if I have to install the full 4 iso version of CentOS.

You should be able to just install the 1 CD.
We have just a couple of deps, but most of the stuff is included with Zimbra, such as Mysql.

You'll likely need to run YUM, bit it should be good.

As mentioned already you should be ok installing from just the ServerCD but you will require the dependencies to be installed (via yum). This is how I had my original installation on CentOS 4.4 and there were a few items I needed (like all the compat packages) but other then that, Zimbra installed and ran off the ServerCD installation.

Currently I'm running 4.5 on CentOS 5 so I can't give you the exact required packages but your yum repo's will have what you need and Zimbra will tell you what dependencies the installation fails on as well ;-)

Lonny
