Default Zimbra on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04?

I see a download for Ubuntu6 on the download page, does this one work for Feisty?

If not I saw the following post with a .deb for Feisty, would it be safe to use?

Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) Package

The build for Ubuntu6 is the only supported version.

That was a build from SVN and whether it's suitable for you is a decision you'll have to make.

To play with, yes.

I have seen some significant issues with apt/dpkg, so use caution.

Is that deb he posted the full Zimbra server or just the evolution connector?

I would like to install the full Zimbra mail server on my Feisty install but I might have to wait I guess. Do you guys plan on releasing something compatiable with Feisty anytime soon?

You can certainly try, but it's best to wait.
we generally do not release new OSes in the middle of a release cycle.
The next major release is 5.0, and I don't know if we're shooting to support it then. look in the bugzilla for more info.

I didn't look in detail earlier but that post you linked to is for the Evolution Connector not a build of Zimbra. I guess you're stuck with Ubuntu6.

That was actually a deb of just the connector, not the server.

Hi

I posed a workaround for feisty a while ago (download the ubuntu package not debian, just to clarify):
[SOLVED] Hi, Any support on ubuntu 7.04b?

As feisty isn't released yet (or only just released today?) its unlikely you'll get official support for it soon - RHEL5 hasn't even got a package yet!

I thought that was what I said in the post above yours.
