Question Installing Apache and zimbra

I am trying to install apache2 to communicate with zimbra, I have followed the tutorial at
http://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?title=ZimbraApache
But couldn't get it to comunicate with zimbra's tomcat
I get these errors in my mod_jk.log file

Sat Apr 14 17:37:10 2007] [jk_connect.c (219)]: jk_open_socket, connect() failed errno = 111
[Sat Apr 14 17:37:10 2007] [jk_ajp12_worker.c (169)]: In jk_endpoint_t::service, Error sd = -1
[Sat Apr 14 17:37:10 2007] zimbra www.webxnet.com 0.000378

Another thing, whenever I restarted zimbra via /etc/init.d/zimbra restart my server.xml file for tomcat unmade my changes, which means that that particular file gets created on the fly by the zimbra daemon, Is there any way to change this and can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong to get apache to talk to tomcat.

Thank you.
