It doesn't have to be on the appliance, it just has to be on your LAN behind the NAT device.

You can check if BIND is in the appliance by running 'conary query bind' from a terminal - if it's not there you can get it from rPath.

hi,

when i do:
[root@mail ~]# conary query bind
bind=9.3.4-0.1-1

i suppose this means that bind is installed but i can not find any named.conf neather the bind daemon...

i'm not at all practical with rpath but i'm practical with linux. can you show me how i can install bind on rpath? or if it is installed how to start it and where to set the named.conf ?

thanks
